Krista started as a sweet silicone/vinyl kit "Christina" by artist Nel de Man. I painted her using Genesis Heat Set Paints to give her that just right peaches and cream coloring, shading and highlights. I manicured her hands and feet for that newborn look..too cute! I love her chubby little cheeks. Her features and wrinkles are adorable. Krista has a flesh-colored doe suede jointed body which is weighted with glass beads and poly pellets, then lightly stuffed with quality polyfill. She is preemie size and can wear preemie or newborn size outfits or dresses. Her brown slightly wavey hair is micro-rooted with mohair and sealed from within. It can gently brushed and styled using a mix of water and conditioner. She comes with a magnetic handcrocheted pacifier, so please use caution around children, electronics and those with pacemakers.
