Reborning is a time consuming labor of love but so worth the effort. To begin, the original paint is removed from a new vinyl doll. She is bathed, than painstakingly repainted with Genesis heat-set paints by Sonja, the artist. Skin folds are shaded, light veining and stork bites are added. Fine stroked eyebrows as well as finger and toe nails are detailed, and nostrils opened so baby can breathe. Each doll gets a special weighted and soft body, hand micro-rooted hair and eyelashes. Some baby dolls may have a magnetic pacifier, some may have a music button in their belly but each will become a One-of-A-Kind OARB treasure, surely to be enjoyed by the new Mommy. All my KinderBug Nursery dolls are signed and numbered and come with their Birth Certificate and bracelet. Look at the picture below to see an example of my reborn babies.
